Ririe-roberts-blackfoot

I sent a post on Ririe/Roberts yesterday but I don't see it...not sure what happened. Spent 3 hrs on Ririe with only 1 perch. Hit Roberts and land over 150 perch-made a few tacos that night - this was on 1/19/2008. Had a good friend hit Blackfoot Reservoir today....he called me and had me stop by and "take a look"...[mad][laugh]---he should have called me to join him!!! Nothing under 18"-all rainbow and the biggest was just shy of 7lbs! You need a snowmobile to get in but if you have a chance-I would give it a try!

Sounds like blackfoot is a good spot. Did he happen to give you any tips on where he was fishing and what he was using. i have thought alot about trying it but i hate going into it blind any pointeres on where and what to use would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information. I haven't ever heard a report from Blackfoot. That would be fun to snowmobile in.

near the dam....they used meal worms and the bite was soft so jigging was a must. Fish were full of carp minnows so that may give you some other ideas for bait. Let me know if you go and how you do!
