Engel® USA - manufacturer of the most advanced fiberglass and rugged plastic ice chests on the water - has introduced a new line of high-performance fish bags specially designed to meet the needs of saltwater recreational and tournament anglers.
With five new-for-2009 models to choose from, avid fishermen can find an Engel® Fish Bag™ to suit any boat and any style of fishing. Sizes offered include 24" X 40", 30" X 55", 35" X 65", 40" X 80" and a whopping 60" X 100" bag that can swallow up a load of ice as well as large fish like tuna, wahoo and broadbill. Engel builds each of these new fish bags with the same advanced materials and attention to detail that have made Engel coolers the choice of demanding boaters and fishermen nationwide.
Like Engel coolers, these bags are engineered to maintain ice longer and keep fish fresh - even in extreme conditions. A tough white vinyl outer layer provides strength and protection for your catch. Each Engel Fish Bag features ultrasonically welded, double-stitched construction for maximum strength. A special heat rejecting silver foil layer prevents the sun's long-wave radiation from getting inside, while 1/2" of closed cell polyurethane insulation throughout retains the cold and protects fish with a layer of padding. A thick transparent PVC inner layer improves performance and protects both the foil and the insulation from moisture. To top it all off, the new Engel Fish Bags feature marine-grade plastic zippers with oversized sliders and pulls for corrosion-resistant, leak-proof performance.
Engel has integrated a host of other useful features into this new line of fish bags, including large corner loops that allow for easy carrying by two anglers. These same sturdy loops make it easy for the Engel Fish Bag to be attached across the transom or along the gunwales of a boat for out-of-the-way fish storage with easy access. An integrated fish ruler (which measures in inches and millimeters) makes it easy to determine the size of your catch. Another "cool" design feature is the ability to have a fish's head or tail protrude from the side of the bag - allowing anglers to store and protect even the largest catch.
When the fishing day is done, the Engel Fish Bag opens flat for easy clean up. It also folds up for easy storage and transportation.
