Ice swimming in Yuba!!!!!!!
#1
I thought it was friday and time for a bath, well not really...

Went down to Yuba this morning, had some friends that was going to meet me there..

I got my 4-wheeler and across the lake I went (no problems) about 30 min. later I could see two people coming across the lake, so I headed there way with the wheeler...

They happen to be on BFT so I pulled there sled across for them...

Well when it was time to go I made the first trip to drop off one of the guys that came down that I said I would take him across so he could fish now we are headed back to head home...But when I stopped and started to get off so he could the back of the wheeler went through the ice and down backward with us we got out just fine and all is ok but now I need to get the wheeler out of the water in the morning...

After seeing the wheeler go through the ice at Fishlake sunday, I don't think I'll be taking mine out anymore this year. That was pretty sobering to see.

Glad you got out ok Cliff. Hope you get the bike back.

The ice is a good 6"to 8" all over but where I stopped, I was told that on sunday some one had an air boat and broke up the ice where I went through...The back of the wheeler went through not the front but it went down but first till it was under water...
