Guess I'll reply to my own post.

Got skunked at Mantua. Went with a group of neighbors and their kids (who for many was their first time ice fishing). Guess we cured 'em- hardly anyone else around us caught a thing. That place was packed this morning...but slow, slow, and more slow. That place has really took a dive in recent years- probably from all the fishing pressure.

That stinks when the newbies get skunked. For some faster action I'd try either Holmes Creek or East Canyon next time. Good luck.
