ICE MEN HEAD TO RHINELANDER FOR NORTH AMERICAN ICE FISHING CIRCUIT
#1
This week on The Sportsman Channel, be sure to watch the new episodes of Ice Men "Sidewinders & Sidefinders". Tune in this week, as the Ice Men head to 646-acre Crescent Lake in Rhinelander, Wisconsin for the second qualifying event of the year on the North American Ice Fishing Circuit. The Ice Men are looking for the heaviest possible limit of eight bluegills and eight perch to bring to the weigh-in. Crescent's man-made cribs are holding the 'gills, and the teams that find the best cribs -- and keep them to themselves -- will do well. The Ice Men are doing their best to cover their tracks, but conflict erupts when a rival Ice Man find out that NAIFC leaders Pikulski and Gilbert found there fish with the assistance of a local angler and his $2,000 sidefinder sonar unit -- a perfectly legal and savvy move. Series editor Josh Lantz says this is not only an entertaining episode, but one that highlights the effectiveness of modern electronics in today's ice fishing. "Modern technology has pulled ice fishing away from it's cold, crude past", he says. "And if you ever wanted to see how the best ice fishermen in the world use cameras and other electronics, you won't want to miss this episode".

Ice Men airs on The Sportsman Channel at the following times, all EST. Tuesday at 11:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 8:00 a.m. For a complete listing of shows and times, visit http://www.thesportsmanchannel.com
