Hit Causey around 8am. Fished the main bay starting in the middle working my way towards the middle point. Targeted Kokes on one rod and Splake on the other.
Fished for about two hours without a bite or locating fish.
Moved to the view at about 11am. Fished the mouth of the narrows on the Eden side. Saw a bunch of fish on the bottom and 20-30 ft suspended. Couldn't get a nibble. Moved further into the narrows with similar results.
Talked to a bloke on a four wheeler then recognized him as Lunkerhunter2. Fished with him after a bit of lesson on what to use on a slow bite day at the view. Started putting into action what he had taught me then low and behold started icing fish! Ended up catching 1 crappie and 10 perch, not bad considering without the tips I would have been skunked!
So thank you Lunkerhunter2 for the tips and pointers.
