BOOYAH BAIT COMPANY BECOMES BASS OFFICIAL SPONSOR
#1
ASS, the worldwide leader in bass fishing, announced yesterday that BOOYAH Bait Company has become an official sponsor. BOOYAH Bait Company, a longtime advertiser in BASS publications, will make their BOOYAH brand the official wire bait of BASS and its prestigious tournament structures and events.

The agreement includes sponsorship of the Bassmaster Classic, Bassmaster Elite Series, the BASS Federation Nation presented by Yamaha Outboards and Skeeter Boats, the Bassmaster Opens and the Academy Sports + Outdoors Women's Bassmaster Tour.

"BOOYAH Bait Company has long been a supporter of BASS and we are proud to become the official wire bait of BASS," said Andy Carroll, BOOYAH Sales and Marketing Manager. "With 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion Alton Jones winning the most prestigious tournament in the world by fishing BOOYAH jigs last year, it's a natural step for us."

As part of the agreement, BOOYAH will receive significant exposure across all of BASS' multimedia properties including Bassmaster magazine and Bassmaster.com. Additionally, BOOYAH will receive on-site exhibit space at all BASS events to display their product lines.

BOOYAH's pro staff includes a number of noteworthy Bassmaster Elite Series anglers including Jones of Waco, Texas; Edwin Evers of Talala, Okla.; Terry Scroggins of San Mateo, Fla.; Zell Rowland of Montgomery, Texas; Matt Reed of Madisonville, Texas; Terry Butcher of Talala, Okla.; and Timmy Horton of Muscle Shoals, Ala.

"We look to develop our relationship with BOOYAH and to build their brand recognition across our multimedia platforms," said Tom Ricks, vice president and general manager of BASS and ESPN Outdoors. "We applaud BOOYAH for their longtime support of our anglers and devotion to the sport."
