SoCal Tubin

Hey now, getting my rig squared away for around April/May, but will be going to the Lagoon at Castaic Feb/Mar. Im still casual with tubin, but should get into it more this year{2nd}.
I think Piru will allow tubin this year also.
I'll probably make a rod holder based on others I've seen here. No finder, just dumb luck!
Anyone local? I hang at Chuy's, West, in Simi.Ca.

I still dont have a tube but Im sure working on it.
Should have SFC in next mount or two.
I do fly fish and spin fish for bass (casitas) and
any othere kinda fishing I can when I can.
But fly fishing is the new thing to me and I injoy it
a lot.

So Cal also, about 30-40 mins south of the Lagoon, fish it often, maybe I'll see you up there someday.

Yeah! Im in Simi, so it's not a bad drive.
I'll wait till it gets a little warmer.
I have thin waders with attatched booties.
Still cant wear much, too sweaty.
Still working on my pole holder.

do you flyfish for bass or regular?
I like to do both with fly the most.
Lake casitas because its kinda close to my house but
no float tubes alowed [:/]
I will be going to san diego for couple of days fishing
in may.
Also lake irvine is open to float tubes.
