treble hook jigs?

i have been trying to find out if this is legal, the only guy around here that i know said it isnt legal in utah, and i thought i better make sure i can use them in idaho. I am wanting to use these on walleye, i get alot of my jig hooks straightened by the big hogs, and thought more hooks maybe i wont loose as many of the big onces, i have tried the heavy wire hooks on my jigs and i break off alot sense there is no bend in the hook to come off a snag.

I have not seen anything that would suggest that it is illegal. Some Rapalas I use have 3 treble hooks. Also try using SS hooks. They won't bend.
