Deer Creek ice conditions

Sunday Black bear and I are heading up to deer creek. The weather has been cold, and we are hoping that the edges have improved. Has anyone driven by in the past two days? How much snow is on top also? Thank you for your information, and hopefully we will be able to catch some stinkin fish ][signature]

fished deer creek yesterday, the edges are still soft and broken. they were fine in the morning but afternoon was soft. the fishing was slow, Paul landed 1 perch about 9in. had more bites but they wouldn't hang on. we fished out from the island in 47 feet. later chuck
