Looking for a Holmes Creek report

I'm wondering if anyone fished holmes this week. The kids are off of school monday and i'd like to take them...if the ice is o.k..

give a bite report too, what caught, depth, bait, ECT.

When I went there a few day's ago the edges were really soft but there was a wooden plank on the dam near the traffic cones where you could access the ice. The ice is maybe 12' think mostly cloudy looking ice. Trout usually suspend 5-10' below the ice and the rest of the fish hug the bottom. Good luck if you go, take extra precautions and don't risk it if it looks unsafe.

went there saturday. Had only 2 bites in 1 1/2 hours. There is about 6" of false ice, with about 4" of good ice. First time I've been there. Thanks to whoever put the plank there.
