Snow coniditions at the Berry

Any reports on snow conditions at Strawberry? I am headed up tomorrow and I may not have a 4WD and will be on foot. Where's a good place to park where I am not going to get stuck and where I can get down to the ice to do some fishing?

I haven't fished the Berry at all this winter. But having fished it many other winter days, I think I am safe in saying that it is easy to keep from getting stuck. Just stay on the main vehicle traveled roads and you should be quite OK. They are pretty good about plowing the roads up there after snow storms.

My bigger concerns is that heavy snow fall on the Berry frequently results in major slush to have to walk through to get to your preferred fishing hole. Consider wearing snow shoes. That slush monster can eat you alive!
