Took a little trip to the Holler yesterday and fished Yesterday and today. Conditions yesterday sucked for the Holler, hardly any wind and bluebird and the fishing sucked as well. Conditions improved today and so did the fishing.<br />Fished with a friend of mine from Manchester and The MGR of Horse Creek Dock Thomas. Thomas is a float and fly guy and he is good at it. Not my favorite way to fish but it works real good. There was 11 fish caught today and a about that many more lost. Fished from Sulpur Creek down to dam. Fish caught in pockets off main channel. Tommorow will be a stellar day for someone and I hated to leave. Will be going back soon. Horse Creek is one of the few Marinas that still cater to fishermen and if any of you decide to take a trip up there I highly recommend Horse Creek. If you want to catch SM. get yourself a wasp nest swatter and put a reel on it and some small jigs and a float, then put the trolling motor down and have you some fun,.
