Have you caught a fish on the fishing lure named in this post? Please respond with any tips, techniques, photo's, or information you have about this lure.

I caught trout and bass on them, depending on the size of the lure. It is a great spinner.

You can buy 2 Roostertails for the price of one Mepps and catch lots more fish!
I like a cast, countdown, and slow retrieve presentation. Cast, count down to 5, a couple quick turns of the reel handle to get the blade spinning, then slow down as slow as you can... but still keep the blade turning. After 3 or 4 casts, if no hits... cast out and let sink to the count of 10 and repeat process. Keep letting the lure sink 5 counts until fish are caught.
I've caught some really nice/large fish on a little ol' bitty 1/8 oz. Roostertail and UL tackle doing this!
