We fished our first ever CBA today. Started out with a great launch number only to sit at the locks for probably an hour that sucked. We had decided to run to Nick since my partner did really well there last week and we hadn't got to prefish chick. We hit a log on the way down and tore the transducer off his boat and clogged the water pickiup causing the boat to overheat. Not any real damage so off we went to bennett lake. We fished until probably 12:30 or 1 and did not catch a single fish of any kind. We decided to run back to chick and try to locate some fish. With about an hour left we caught a lil spot. We moved again to a main lake flat with about 6 to 8 feet of water. Caught three bass there one being 4.6 with less than ten min. left. Also a PIG of a drum talk about gettin my dang hopes up. Ended the day with 4 fish 10.6 I think. Wish we would have stayed on Chick or had about thirty minutes more time. At least we salvaged the day and had a good time. Great job on running the tx guys.
