northern california big fish what is available now
#1
I would like to go to a fishing trip in Northern Cal. I called a place today they told me they only catch sand bass and mackerel, salmon is not open.

We would like to catch some big fish, is there anything else we could fish this time of the year or soon to be open

I live in San Francisco. I called a fishing boat in Monterey, do you suggest checking somewhere else?

[Image: happy.gif][#008000]Hi there adam99 - hate to say it but you would have better luck having Google check out the fishing conditions in the Monterey area. That is what I would have to do since I don't live in the area nor do we seem to have any active members in NoCal.[/#008000]

There are still some good Stripers in the area. They should be coming in to full swing pretty soon.

Other than that, there is leopard Shark fishing and Sturgeon fishing after the 15th of March. You may want to head to the Delta for some better Striper fishing as well as good Sturgeon and nice Cats in that area.[cool]

You can always catch big fish in the Delta - runs from Sacramento to San Francisco
