Bait Caster Combo Help.

Pretty set on this combo for pike and bass.

Any reviews from you guys or reasons I should choose a different one? The Shimano Citica has great reviews and the mag touch seems pretty sweet.
Going with the 7 foot medium.

I was looking at the powell rods. Do we have a reel sponser yet? I really want a good reel since backlash will drive me NUTS.

No reel sponsor yet. But with all the shops I'm guessing we can find you a nice reel and you can get it cheaper too. I'll start looking right now.

Is that the price range you want to stay in?

you can pay $500 bucks for a reel and still get backlash its all on the beholder. keep your thumb on the line and all just might turn out allright.

try looking on ebay for reels, I picked up a few shimano reels last year for a great price. if you can stand looking thru a bunch you can get some good deals on reels. 2 years a go a bought a new ambassdor from cabales on sale for 60 bucks. a few weeks later I looked on ebay and the same reel sold for 30 bucks new in the package.
