Twin Lakes report
#1
Hiked up to Twin Lakes on Saturday. Not a whole lot of action up there, I was figuring that there must have been some kill last summer or during the winter. I have heard from two people saying that in years past that during the summer time that that lake usually gets drained quite a bit. So maybe it was from the low level that a lot of the fish got killed off. Out of the four of us there were just four cutts caught out of there. It was a beautiful hike though, still quite a bit of snow on the east side of the lake.

I hiked up there maybe two years ago, with some scouts, I spent a little less than an hour fly fishing it, but never saw a single rise or any sign of fish what so ever. So I was surprised to read that you caught some cuts. Way to go. But you are right, it certainly is a beautiful hike, as well as very strenuous for someone who doesn't do a lot of hiking.
