] [] Bait Caster and I made an early morning trip to Willard yesterday. Launched at about 6:30. BC picked up a small wiper right off the bat in the S-E corner ... then another. We headed for the west dike. Trolled the west dike for a while and then found some good marks on the fish finder in the area of the light poll. Stayed there the rest of the morning. Water temps were about 69 when we put in and when we left at noon, temps were about 71. We each caught 3 or 4 ... all on modified prism shads trolled close to 3.5 mph. Anytime we slowed down, we stopped getting hits. We both lost lots of bumps ... I think our modified tail hooks are too small. It was a beautiful wind free day. It was great to be out with a great fishing friend. We'll have to do it again BC.[/size][/font]
