Easter Sunday willard
#1
My son and I hit the water at 8:00am. went straight to the Walleye hole " [:p] " and put the bouncers down.
To make a long story short we had 7 eye bites. Put 2 in the boat. 22 and 20 1/2 inches, 3 came unbuttoned and flat out missed two [crazy]
Another pretty morning. The eyes were willing....we just messed up [frown]
Looks like Willard might be picking up.

[inline DSCN0143.JPG]Here's a pic from Sunday.
I caught them but my son invited them home for dinner. I have not been able to convince him he needs to respect the old mans over 20 inch release slot limit. His boat, his gas and his bait. I guess it's his call [Wink]

Nice eyes Roger, it seems like most of them caught this year at Willard are 20 inches or larger. I sure hope there are a few of the smaller eyes in the lake, we might have a big gap in the different year classes[:/]. With the last few years of low water at Willard they might not have done very good on their spawning.
