Utah Lake Launch

Got the new (to me) boat and am ready to hit Utah Lake for some kitty's. I have never been down there, what is the nearest launch ramp coming from the North? Any hints on fishing locals?

the nearest boat ramp is american fork boat harbor. i think its exit 276 but dont take my work for that. the kittys are all over the lake just go out anchor down and try for a half hour if you dont get eny bites try anouther location. i use shrimp,carp, any minnows from the store and white bass meat. try on the bottom on one pole and about a foot off the bottom with a bober on anouther pole. good luck and give us a report.
