Gray Bomber, nick, cff, 4-25, rooster
#1
We started the day with crankbaits in 4-8 ft of water. On the 2nd cast I had a decent keeper in the boat. While I was getting it in the livewell Rooster put #2 in the boat. 10 mins later I got #3. So we was off to a pretty good start. maybe about 20 more mins. I got #4. All on cranks. We stayed in that area for a little while longer with nothing so we then moved to the river ledge. We pretty much spent the rest of the day on the trolling motor in water from 2 to 12 ft. Rooster was fishin t-riged plastics and wore me out the rest of the day catching 6 more keepers. The problem was we was only culling a few oz. at a time. At 2 o,clock Rooster drooped me off at the ramp and I left to get to my sons baseball game. I think he said we had alittle over 12lbs and finished just out of the money. We had a great time and look forward to the next one our schedule will let us fish.
