I've never fished the jordan before till a few weeks ago. I'm doing some work in South Jordan and thought I'd try it, after reading some posts on here about it and then all the differant species of fish in there, I had to try it.
I parked at a little playground type thing with a bike trail, I think around 126000 south or something like that and headed north fishing were I could get threw the brush, but nothing.
When you guys fish it do you try to find deeper holes or just fish the whole thing.

You can find any of the species in UT Lake in the Jordan, but I haven't found nearly as many of the fish in the lower section of the river as I have in the upper section for the first couple of miles. Alot of the river is on private land and some of the river is really hard to get to from the bank where it cuts through the point of the mountain. It would be really cool to float the river and fish it really hard in different places to see what's going on, but I live at 700N in SLC and down here the Jordan is too full of waste and treated sewage to even remotely interest me.
