<br /> Got out after church this afternoon, and decided to pick up some wax worms to make sure we had plenty of action today. Good thing I did. After loosing much cooler on the drive to town, right out of the dang boat, I though, oh crap today will be one of those days. <br /> Launched, got the bait tank filled, $4 in shad keeper in.....NEVER caught the first shad. 
<br /> They were all running at the walk-way, and I just couldn&#39;t get there with all those folks fishing. Decided to use the wax worms, and we must have caught 100 of them. Only about a dozen keepers, one crappie, severl google-eyes, and a couple bass. <br /> Angelfish caught the big fish with a nice fat 16&amp;quot; LM. Cathead had a beast of a channel cat,( I think) run him ragged for a while, then break him off on the motor. emoBang <br /> While searching for bait, my digital TM stopped turning...emoBang Strike two. <br /> Decided after we ran through all the wax worms to look for some more bait. Got my new cast net hung and DESTROYED it...emoBang emoBang $100 down the drain. <br /> Still had an absolute blast having Carol and the kiddos catching so many fish.<br /> <br />
