So a couple of weeks ago i decided that i need a new fishin pole. so i went out and about a new 6' 6" Diawa med. action. i was really happy with this rod only got to use it like 2-4 times not very many. and only caught a couple of fish on it. well my buddy that i do most of my fishin with. i usually keep my gear there. no problem. it is well taken care of. Usually. so there were put up in the garage. where not only a couple of my rods have been and is there but where all of his rods are kept. well he called me the day before and painfully told me that my brand new rod. even still had the plastic and all the stickers still on the cork. had gotten broke. Not just broke but broke a foot above the cork.

A Sage or Gloomis or similar rod with a broken return policy doesnt mean crap when it gets stolen.

You have to have the evidence of the broken rod. What would keep people from lying about a rod being stolen and then ending up with two for the price of one. But at least you'll have the insurance of being able to replace a broken rod for free. And you can also fish with them like you don't care if you break it, which can be a lot of fun.

I recently bought the ugly stick pro lite...it is lighter in weight and has a cork handle...not a bad pole at all, especially for 36 bones from wally world...don't have to baby it...just throw it in the back of my truck and I'm on my way!

i bought my TFO from Jimmy's here in IF last year right in the middle of the salmonfly hatch on the south fork my cork on my handle busted in half on my fly 6wt tfo i took it back to jimmy's and he gave me a 6wt loaner reddington so i could still throw big bugs. all i had to do was pay the shipping cost for the new rod that tfo sent me 2 weeks later.

i bought a sage right of the rack..at a reputable dealer around here..my dad steped on it two weeks later..brought it in and they gave me another one they had on the rack no questons asked..buying them of the rack ready to go is sometimes better then having someone tie them up for you..
