Jigs
#1
So after our 2 trips steelhead fishing and hundreds of dollars in jigs. We decided to try tying a few for ourselves. Jigs at the store Tongue $3 or so.
Jigs we made .under .20c a piece total. And took a total of 15 seconds a piece to make Tongue Im particularly excited for the one at the bottom. And we are going to add some feathers to future models. Now I wont feel so bad when I lose 15 in a day lol

i pour, my jigs, paint them, and tie them. Try a bit of black marabou on them it works great. Also a black wooly worm with a white head. I think it costs me around 8 cents to pour, paint, and tie each jig. I am getting a 1/8 oz heavy wire with a 60 degree eye also. Not many of them around but you seem to hook them in the upper mouth which seems to be softer and easier to hook.

Nice jigs! I think it's so much more fun to catch fish on tackle you've tied up yourself! Lots more gas money for more trips too[shocked]
