Had a little get together on the water today. Amanda was sport enough to wake up before dawn and do some fishing with her pops and me. We fished from North Sauty down to Mink and had a dynamite day. Amanda started things off with a spawned out 3.5 lber on a senko, and quickly after nailed another keeper putting me and Hammer down 2-0-0. Well we did what real fishermen do and decided to back boat her emoLaugh. We ended up with 21 keepers today, mostly on mag lizards, and a few on senkos. Most fish were caught by sight, relating to hard bottoms in shallow water with deep water very close. Most were spawned out, but some still had eggs. Our best five keepers were a 6, 2-5s, and several in the 4 lb class. Water temperature was reaching 70 in most places. What a beautiful day on the water!
