Any Tips on Provo River on May 2nd

Was thinking of trying to hook a Walleye in the Provo River on saturday.

Any pointers? I know some of you think it is beneath you to catch late spawing Walleye, but I think it sounds like fun.

My understanding the tributaries open up on the 2nd.

I wouldn't get too excited about the big opening. Went up scouting and didn't see a thing. Last year there were tons up to almost opening day. On opening day only a couple 12 -14inchers. I'm not gonna bother with it this year.
