Went up to Echo yesterday. Was fishing the South side from shore. We caught a few smallies, nothing with much size to them.
But the stangest catch was mine. You know I have to eat my words earlier on the free fishing day when I said it was funny to see powerbait floating at Willard. I caught a14inch channel cat at echo on powerbait yesterday.I thought I had a really nice trout on until he got close. My son also caught about a 16 inch channel cat by floating a worm down. I guess you can never tell.
