Has anyone fished this area lately? I read they just stocked it. I am taking some first time fisherman up for a 4 day camping trip. I suppose powerbait will be the bait of choice?

Powerbait, Pautzkes Ball of Fire Salmon Eggs (must be this brand has been my experience), flies behind a bubble early or late, night crawlers with a marshmallow, and various spinner type lures cast from shore on the east bank of East Reservoir.

Thanks for the information. I usually take all the above with me except for the flies. My son fly fishes so I will have him take all his gear.

Icefool, all the basic trout baits work up there.There is a couple of lakes up at Payson Lakes area(if you did'nt know?) I find that the smaller lakes away from the main are less crowded hence better fishing[cool]
