draing pineview?

What's this I hear that they are going to drain pinveiw. Anyone one have any info about this?

Pinview was taken to a low level last year for earthquake upgrades on the dam, they are mostly complete. There are currently no plans to drain the lake, however, if this drought keeps up, it might get drained from "normal" water use. We need some rain in a big way. I believe Yuba is next on the dam upgrade list.

Yep, Yubba is the next on the list. That is why the DWR increased limits on the lake, it is going to be reduced to a puddle.

So I guess the lake is just getting low due to the fact that they are already starting to use the water. Scary how fast it is drianingj
