Looks like some nice fish there. Was fishing at Lindon boat harbor last night and have a question. Was the water pure brown over on the Saratoga side of the lake too?

Thanks for the info. I agree about how the fish ever find anything in that lake some days.

Nice post, good looking fish. I fished the Knolls today - Not even a nibble.
This morning was overcast and the sun decided to sleep in a bit. Looked as if the wind had battered the shore all night? The water was mighty murky. Could hardly see my jigs / spinners it was so brown and soupy.
Never really got a chance to try for catfish, that was the original plan though. I was out of cut-bait and wrongly assumed I could catch a dozen or so white bass for bait. Not sure if they were there, and could not see my offerings or if they have stopped spawning and are not in the area anymore. My brother had some leeches he tried dragging on the bottom for cats, but did not get bit.
Packed up at about noon and headed to Lincoln Beach to try for White bass and possibly some kitties if I could find some bait! No luck, wind picked up and stirred the water. Then it started raining. Spoke to some old fellers at the cleaning station who caught a limit of small channel cats. They informed me that the white bass were still in close spawning, must just be too murky. Still a good day of fishing, even without the fish!
