Yuba tomorrow morning at o dark thirty
#1
I'm heading out tomorrow morning to Yuba. Is anyone else going to be out there? I've only been on Yuba once before and got blown off the lake that time. Any tips on location favorite lures would be appreciated.

If the pike aren't interested I'm going to try and get some perch if anyone knows the whereabouts of them also.

Thanks for any tips.

What's up with the lack of nightcrawlers? Sportsmans had none, they sent me to Wal Mart, they had none. Now I'm flooding the yard to pick them myself. Not doing very well, been a lot of years since I have caught them, keep pulling to hard and snapping them in half.

if you let them relax for a second then pull again they will ussually come out.. if not repeat this..did you know if you split a worm in half both halves will regrow..

I used to catch these by the hundreds when I was a kid. Haven't done it for 20 plus years as I never have time. It came back to me thankfully. Caught about 30 I think. Hopefully that's not enough ha ha.

I'll send you a PM. Can't believe you're not headed for Starvation this weekend, I think our group will have 16 to 18 boats there. If you get down that way stop by and see us, I'll be in the lower campground. Truck plates say PACKFAN, I always have a cold one ready. Everyone have a great weekend and remember our Veterans, without them you probably wouldn't be enjoying this Holiday.[fishin]

if your fishing for pike or perch you should not need worms.. ?.. [crazy] for the pike troll or throw big crank bait's.. for the perch just a jig with perch on it or a chunck of perch on a hook.. for the cat fish a chunck of chub or sucker..

for carp use the worm!! [sly]

nixt time try minnows on your bottom-boucers.. helps keep the carp off and the pike and cat's like them better then worms.. [sly]
