any new pelican lake reports

hey Im thinking of taking the wife and kids out for some bass and bluegill fishing on sat. Just wondering if anyone has been out there fishing lately and how bad the bugs are right now. Hope the weather is better than last year it was really crappy on memorial day weekend last year at pelican. rain, W--- and lightning
