I'm planning on going to the East Fork of the Sevier in the Black Canyon/Kingston Canyon area on Tues. and Wed. I just checked the stream flows and they have jumped from 75cfs to 150 cfs yesterday. Does this river fish well with higher flows and if so how long does it usually take to stabilize. I have never been down there before so any information about the river is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[#008000]I know Kingston canyon, and I know Black Ridge further down east of 22 and west of the Aquarius Plateau, But where is Black canyon ? It's not ringing a bell for me. [/#008000][#008000][/#008000]

Black Canyon is up past Antimony.
Kingston Canyon down below Otter Creek gets pretty rough and off color this time of year. I'd bet on Black Cyn further up though I'd have to confess i'm not sure. But I wouldn't count on Kingston.

Kingston is your best bet. Flows will be high but alot clear then Black. I'd wait til spring runoff ends.
