washington state trip help???

I've already posted on the washington state general board, but it doesn't seem to be too active, so I thought I'd post on the Utah board (I live in bountiful) to see if you guys here have any advice.

I'm going to be on a work trip this next week up to Goldendale, Washington and was just wondering if anyone might have any tips or advice on fishing spots/techniques for places close to Goldendale to get some fishing in after the work day is done.

Any help/info would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to pm if you don't want to post.

If you are in Goldendale, Wa. travel south on 97 into Oregon and fish the Deschutes river. You can fish near Maupin.
