Sweet report! I was up there too and did really well. The smallies were hangin out on the west side in shallower rocks. I was fortunate to talk to a Fish Biologist as he was pullin out on Friday. He said the biggest Eye they netted for evaluation was 32"!!!WOW! The eye's I did catch were small yet I caught them on perch rigs. I tryed everything in my tackle for the bigger eyes we pinned on the fish finder...they just weren't interested. I missed a nice one on a deep diver trolling. Sure had tasty dinners! Out on the river this week seems like I get the bigger ones to hit. One day I'll figure out the secret to the biggies above the Dam! GL!

To my understanding they do shock an area then net and do their evaluations and release. He spoke of his studies down to Cutler and questioned me on my 30" catches and where I catch them. This could be a great study maybe to plant and regulate ALL species all the way down to Cutler. Cross our fingers!

I heard from a couple ppl that they were shocking right at the utah idaho boarder, I was wondering if they wernt tagging fish with transmiters and tracking the spawn run. I will keep my fingers crossed that it is for planting but i doubt it.

I'm planning on hitting it this week for smb. I wouldn't mind trying for a meal of eyes. Would you mind sharing a little info on what you caught them on. I have caught very few up there, hopefully my luck will change soon. I'll be fishing from a boat so will be mobile. Thanks
