so besides the uintah's silver lake and boulder mountains what are some cool lakes to hike to around utah county im hoping to do a lot of hiking this summer

Utah's Skyline Drive has some nice lakes. Most are accessible from dirt roads but some can only be reached by hiking.

There are several small lakes in the Cottonwood Canyons that you have to hike to reach. They are beautiful but fish are usually small.

Wind Rivers area in Wyoming has world-class fishing with many lakes that you have to hike to reach. Much like the Uintas only more remote, and there are bears.
