Willard marinas - which is best for family outing while I'm fishing?

I've only been to Willard twice - once for belly flops trying to water ski and the other for a church campout. Which marina would be the best for: boat launching, ease of dropping off people and supplies for day use, best individual pavillion (if possible) and picnic tables, beach or at least a sandy area for the grandkids, and boat anchoring for access from pavillion or whatever?
OR maybe the crowds from East Canyon will decrease with Willard open and I'll just go back to EC.[]

The north marina has the things you describe (assuming you get there early enough to claim your spot). The south marina doesn't have any amenities for folks on the shore (unless some have been added in the last year or so) except for restroom.
