starvation walleyes and smallmouths
#1
Decided to give Starvation another try today. Hit the water about 7:30. Slight breeze. Water temp was 59 first thing but warmed up to 62 later in the day. Started out in the Strawberry River Inlet with bottom bouncers and worm harnesses and a berkely gulp night crawler in the pumpkinseed color. picked up three in about an hour. moved to were we where drop shotting over marked fish got one more. moved on up to indian bay and started casting for smallmouth useing a reel fish jig head and a berkely minnow in new penny color picked four up. One really nice one, about 18 inches. wind came up, rain and hail left about 2:00. a little slow but a good day.
