Sulphur Creek, Wy
#1
Okay I know I know, Sulphur Creek is not a 'Utah' fishing locale.. but I've noticed a slight interest in the lake on these forums - I live about 15 miles from the lake, guess you could say it is my home water. Although I do not think the fishing is great, I do find myself up there every now and again - mainly for convenience sake.

Some buddies were in town and after drinking a few "beverages" we decided it'd be a good idea to head out to Sulphur Creek at 1:00 AM for some night fishing. Made a fire and had a heck of a time... Caught 3-4 trout. They were all 3-4 lbs, but very skinny... looks like they are ragged from spawning. We cooked and ate them right then and there. Yum.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share - If you work days or can't seem to find enough time to go fishing. . . Give it a try when the sun goes down. We had the entire lake to ourselves and the silence was excellent. I didn't realize that trout bit so well at night, anyone else catch em in the dark?
