My son , his girfreind and I spent the day up at pete's hole. It's one of my favorite places. The fishing was great using a pistol pete leech patern behind a bubble full of water and retrieved very slow. It was a fish on most casts ranging from 6" to a couple 14 to 16" (large for that lake) however most were in the 8-12" mixed bag of rainbows , tiger, and albino's. But pete's hole is about the scenery anyway. Hit electric on the way back but with out much luck. Rained out. Great day otherwise

That sure is a nice place to fish. Like you said, no big dogs, but great scenery. Thanks for the report.

Was the road open over the top or did you come up from Joe's Vally?

Drove up from JV however we did take a ride up the road to check it out. There is still some substancial drifts near the top. It may be 2 or 3 weeks unless the forest service plows them , which they do quite often in late snow years.
