Fished Magic Res. this A.M. between rain storms. Actually, the weather cooperated while we were on the water. My wife and I limited on rainbows and one brown. Most all the boats came in at the same time, due to nearby thunder and lightning, and they had struggled, for the most part. You definitely have to find the right spot to connect. They were anywhere from on the surface to 15 feet down. A couple of lunkers, but the average size seems down somewhat from a couple of years ago. By the way, the two times the fish got really active on the surface coincided perfectly with the Weather Channel's fishing forecast. I am becoming a believer after using it the last couple of years. Nice report Mike, thanks for sharing!

Can't wait to hit Magic and the Wood later this summer. The overall number of bigger Rainbows in the river seemed lower than what you can typically expect last summer too, hopefully there will be more of the bigger fish swimming out of the reservoir and hiding in the holes this year.
