Weber this weekend?

Hello fellow fly-fishers!

Has anyone been of the Weber this weekend?

I am going to take my wife out fly-fishing sometime next week and am looking for fishing conditions. If it were just me, I would just head up there and fish. But, having her with me, I would like to know what I am headed into.

I know that it is high/fast coming out of the Weber Canyon, but was hoping that it was reasonably fishable somewhere up river.

Any reports?

I was up in the wanship area Tuesday of last week water flows are manageable not nearly as fast as the Taggart area but you got to be selective were you cross and wade.

Fishing is slow caught mostly white fish as usual but did manage 2 browns 1st one was around 18 inches. Caught it by accident was walking and casting the wind threw my line right along the bank were I was walking and Wham it took my fly. Seems like there holding right along the shorelines

Second one was same was holding along the opposite shore line under some trees. Seen quite a few caddis flys buzzing around but no fish rising. Both were caught bh stonefly with a wd-40 dropper.
