Need help finding perch

Its been years or decades since I have fished for perch. I am taking a young angler out to either Jordonelle or Rockport on Friday. I need some help finding the perch. I would guess worm and jig for bait.

Not sure where you are but if I were going out to target perch exclusively, I would head to Yuba... The Perchin has been great there, many phatt phattie perch. Just my 2 cents
