Now for the report. We caught some decent blue gill, many more than we could count. Only kept the ones with some meat on them. The larger bass were very quiet, because of the storm front that ws right on top of us and the air temp of 54 degrees. I was finally able to coax this pretty thing out of the weeds with a purple burkley worm.[Image: happy.gif] Happy fishing!!!! also any info on fishing jordanelle and rockport in the mornings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Purple was gold (no pun intended [Smile]) when I was there a month ago, my buddy and I burned through a pack of soft plastics each!

I fished Jordonelle and Rockport last week. I didn't have much luck at Jordonelle, only a handfull of smallies and a brown. Rockport we caught 20 plus fish both days. Most were along the west side of the lake below the road in 8'-12' of water on natural colored senkos.

We were there as well on Saturday. We caught a few big ones. Greenish plastics worked best for us. Bluegills seemed to hit pink/black gigs best.
