I was thinking of taking the family to cutler to try for some cats. Is there easy access for bank fishing there. I know there are bull heads in there but does it have any channels? Any info one could give would be awesome.
Thanks

Yes, Cutler does have some channels. I am not very familiar with the lake, but I am heading there tonight. I will be doing some shorefishing with a guy that lives right by it, so I will put a post up tomorrow. He says the last couple of times he's been out this year, he has caught all channels and no bullheads. All of the channels were about 2-4 lbs, but he did catch a couple of bigger ones.

Cutler's got bullhead, channels, carp, walleye, crappie, and some trout. If you go to benson or cache junction marina and fish by the bridge with crawlers or beef liver you'll catch yellow bellies all day. if you go a ways away from the marinas and put on something bigger like a big shrimp you'll catch more of the channels and carp. i usually fish the shallow pools and back eddys.

While I haven't figured them out to where I can catch a ton of bass out of Cutler, I'm quite impressed with how thick and healthy they are when I do get them. I'm really looking forward to when I get a canoe and can explore that place more thoroughly.
