What reel type, ratio of intake, rod action, and rod length is best for a kit for these types of fishing?

If multiple fishing types work for one rod than say so. Also, if multiple rods are necessary for one fishing style than say so.

I already own a 6,6 med action spinning outfit. Can some one list the fishing techniques that are possible with this kit?
