So I got my boat up and running again. Just needed a new impeller and all is good. Headed to a spot where I had got a few the other day. Did pretty good. Boated 12 bass with 5 being keepers. They were over very deep water. CAught them on crappie jig, dd22 , fat free shad, and spinner bait. DEcided to move to a spot I had never fished before but wanted to. Am I glad we did. This is a big hump that goes up to 19ft max. We caught 3 more bass there with one being a 16" spot that fought like a 18" largemouth. These came on a drop shot. Then we kept seeing jumps but could not get any fish from them on the spinner baits we had tied on. I put a silver buddy on and caught a nice white. Probably 12" WEll for the next thirty minutes we boated 10 more whites in boils or jumps all on spoons. I was just laughing and giggling when these fish would surround the boat and you would be reeling one in just hoping to get another cast before they go away. So total 26 fish in just over 2 hours. 6:45 to 9 pm. Almost glad I was not in Ratmans so I could take advantage of the whites. Will be going back out the on Sunday probably hoping for some more.
