Put in at Soddy Creek about 6:30. Fished docks and bluffs on the river. Fished some docks that weren't deep enough to produce but caught fish anyway. That just goes to show you that you never know. Caught 13 crappie, a 3lb smallie, 16" LM, bunch of bluegill eating willow flies, 7 keepers. I caught my first TARP, and had another at 13 3/4 crappie. Fished until 10:30. Water temp. 81. BG bleeding shad dipped on 1/32 oz. jig on 7 to 8 count. Boat ran great and found some new fishing grounds. All fish released to grow and be caught again. Doesn't get any better than that.
